Rhythms Of Grace: A Journey into rest by Kate Waterman

“For those training or in ministry (but not exclusively), it may provide a welcome point of study”

If you have ever wondered how to find more rest and peace in your life, then this could be the book for you! The author, Kate Waterman, has produced a delightful, easy-to-read, book for journaling through ways to rest and overcome life’s general anxieties and stresses. The book sections are based on material from Kate’s own website Kate has a wealth of her own personal experience in defining how to find rest in her own personal journey as a teacher and in counseling and pastoral care.

"Kate Waterman, has produced a delightful, easy-to-read, book for journaling through ways to rest and overcome life’s general anxieties and stresses."

“Rhythms of Grace” is a book based on Bible teachings, and describes essentially how the grace and love of God which flows outwards to each and every one of us is available as a wonderful free gift, something which we may perhaps forget in our busy lives of doing and achieving! The exploration of themes such as how to have a brand-new life, how the Cross changes everything, and knowing the presence and provision of God, provides useful study material for individuals or groups who may wish to take a path of discipleship together.

For those training or in ministry (but not exclusively), it may provide a welcome point of study for a silent retreat or for periods of reflection to spend time thinking through the Bible and allowing time and space to find the presence of God. The accompanying “Journey Notes” is particularly useful for those who like a handy notebook to diarise their thoughts and make contemporaneous notes.

As a special treat, Kate is providing an Easter 'giveaway' when people can order paperbacks at a special discount at her website above; this will be from 2nd April to 9th April, inclusive.

I thoroughly recommend this book and I hope that you may find it a useful adjunct to Kate’s website.
