The Reverend Vet Comic

I never thought I'd be the co-star of a weekly comic!

Well, this is something rather special! As a Reverend my “instruction manual” is almost 800,000 words long and not always the easiest of books to digest… so the contrast of a few choice words presented in a colourful comic strip has always been something I’ve very much enjoyed.

The opportunity for myself and Poppy to star in a comic drawn by the wonderful Kat Cardy was one that I absolutely couldn’t turn down. We’ve all had great fun writing the content together (there’s a few collective heads here that make up the Reverend Vet Team), and we’ll be publishing the comic online every week on a Saturday (because, understandably, my Sundays tend to be rather busy already!)

I’m really looking forward to this being an opportunity to share some observational humour and even a little bit of satire, but most importantly I’m hoping it brings a bit of colour and light to social media.

About The Artist

Having worked on the Thundercats comic (2011 Warner Bros) and with a name like 'Kat' who else could I possibly have chosen to bring my cat Poppy to life?

Kat Cardy is a self-employed artist specialising in comics & animal art, based in Wales, UK

SALAMANDER SHIRTS

I started wearing Salamander shirts a couple of years ago as I love bright colours and animal prints, these are by far the loveliest unique patterns I've ever seen. A family business based in the UK Salamander Shirts are great value for money, good quality, comfortable and smart for work to boot!

Don't forget to look out for my Salamander shirts and for 'Sal' (our little Salamander) hiding in every comic!
